Sapmi, also known as Lapland, is a cultural and geographic region in Northern Europe, spanning across parts of Norway, Sweden, Finland, and Russia, where the indigenous Sami people reside. It encompasses areas of the counties Nordland, Troms, and Finnmark in Norway, as well as parts of the provinces Norrbotten and Västerbotten in Sweden, Lapland in Finland, and the Murmansk Oblast in Russia.
